Sometimes it is worth looking out of the window despite the cold wind blowing in your face and chilling you to the bones. Sometimes it is worth raising your head and giving the sky a chance at shining through the camera lens. It might not look spectacular at the very beginning, but then you see your first shot and realise that you have just captured a great moment. You do no longer feel the chill and snap a couple more shots just in case praying that the clouds do not shift and the scene does not change.
Twenty minutes later you walk out and see that the sky is no longer the same. The clouds keep floating from the river, but their shivering mosaic has turned into a silky shawl. You smile as you carry the right moment on your memory card – you have given the sky a chance and it shined.
